Religion in Maps

I thought this looked pretty cool. It's a survey of religions by maps, and provides a stark reminder of the power of religion and geography in shaping our nation's political landscape.

Wow. Baptists, far as the eye can see...

And look! There's the Jews! All itty-bitty!

And look! That pinprick sized dot! That's the Dutch Reformed church! I'm a discreet and insular religious minority!

Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny about the Jews. I got that feeling when I went to school in the Midwest and a couple of morons wanted to check out my horns.

But in a show of solidarity, I'm joining the Dutch Reformed Church. Sweet.

The Agnostics? Well, I'm pretty sure they're on there somewhere....I'm just not sure, y'know, what they look like...or what form they might take.

Whereas I just plain don't believe in Atheists.
